Sip Something New This Summer With These Four Tasty Coffees

Summer’s here - so pause the usual latte order — as we have found some Wagga venues producing creative, cool and tasty brews you might not have discovered yet! From liquid biscuits to refreshing sips, these four local options are ready to brighten your day (or night):

Iced Americano (An Alaskan maybe??)

Ingredients: Double-shot Espresso, Ice

Order when: When you’ve hit your limit on milk for the day but still want a coffee with body. Clean, bold and refreshing — it gives you the lift without the weight.

SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!

Gingerbread Iced Latte with Maple Cold Foam

Ingredients: Double-shot Espresso, Ice, Milk, Gingerbread Syrup. Maple syrup flavoured cold foam

Order when: Available only until the end of December. If you want a taste of Christmas without eating a full tray of mince pies, this is it — festive, cool and quietly indulgent. Perfect for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up before wrangling the kids from school (FYI: Carlo’s close 3pm on weekdays). Sip it in the car, take a breath, and reset before the madness of parenting resumes.

STEP ON IN

Plantation Cacao

Ingredients: Firehouse 51 Gin, Coffee Infused Campari, Antica Formula, Creme de Cacao, Chocolate Bitters.

Order when: When an espresso martini might not be your style. This drink brings depth, conversation and just the right spark — a grown-up balance of caffeine and character. Order one when you’re ready to ease out of everyday chatter and into something a little more interesting rather than the typical “Yes, I can’t believe it’s December either” or “how hot was it today”…

BOOK A TABLE

FCCR Drip Bags

Ingredients: Locally roasted coffee in single serve pour-over bags.

Order when: Before Dec 18! These belong in every pantry — as essential as salt and pepper. Ideal for busy mornings, road trips, outdoor days or any moment you want good coffee without fuss. As simple as instant, but actually worth drinking.

A note for Wagga:
Full Circle Coffee Roasters will cease operations on December 18 (or earlier if they sell out). Lachie has poured genuine craft and care into local coffee, and we hope this won’t be the last we see of him in the industry. Being a local producer is tough — and it’s exactly why FABEL exists: to strengthen and support the people who make our city’s food, beverage and hospitality culture what it is.
