We’re Hiring a Shop Manager
Lake Village Fish & Chips is seeking an experienced Manager to lead daily operations, support our team, and maintain the high standards our customers know and love. This role is ideal for someone confident, organised, and ready to take ownership of a thriving local business.

Lake Village Fish & Chips is a well-run, customer-focused takeaway shop serving the Lake Albert community. We’re known for quality food, friendly service, and a smooth, efficient operation built on teamwork and consistency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Overseeing day-to-day store operations
Leading, rostering, supervising and training team members
Monitoring inventory, placing orders and managing stock rotation to minimise wastage
Maintaining food safety, WHS and hygiene standards
Ensuring product quality, presentation and service remain consistently high
Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally
Managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and controlling inventory
Contributing to operational improvements and overall business efficiency

What We’re Looking For
2–3 years hospitality management experience (fish & chips or takeaway desirable)
Proven ability to lead and train staff in a busy environment
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Solid understanding of food safety and WHS requirements
Ability to perform under pressure during high-volume service
A positive, hands-on, customer-focused mindset
