What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering High-Quality Cuisine

  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes to the highest standards.

  • Maintain consistency, creativity, and attention to detail across every plate.

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on innovative, seasonal menu development.

Keeping the Kitchen Running Smoothly

  • Ensure proper stock management, cost control, and food handling procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior kitchen staff.

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Beautifully executed dishes that match the venue’s high standards.

  • Strong teamwork and communication across all levels of the kitchen.

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent hospitality qualification).

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.

  • Strong culinary skills across a variety of cuisines.

  • Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management.

  • Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.

  • Strong communication and a collaborative mindset.
