We’re Hiring a Cook or Chef

Mock Orange Investments Pty Ltd is looking for a motivated Cook or Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking, wants flexible hours that can fit around school schedules, and values working in a supportive, friendly environment.

You’ll work alongside an experienced Head Chef and a welcoming kitchen team, with great pay and free coffee included.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking food to the highest possible standard

  • Following company recipes to ensure consistent portions and presentation

  • Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly

  • Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen during and after service

  • Working both independently and as part of a team

  • Assisting with supervision of junior staff when required

  • Receiving stock and helping manage stock levels, rotation and waste

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistent, well-presented dishes leaving the kitchen

  • A clean, organised and efficient workspace

  • Smooth service during busy periods

  • Strong teamwork and communication

  • A positive, reliable presence in the kitchen items

What We’re Looking For

  • Commercial cooking or baking experience preferred but not required

  • Willingness to learn and take direction

  • Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team

  • Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude

  • Availability to work most weekends

  • Australian work rights
