We’re Hiring a Chef
The Union Club Hotel is a Wagga Wagga institution. For more than 20 years, we’ve been known for warm hospitality, a welcoming atmosphere, and delivering some of the region’s best dining experiences. With a restaurant, outdoor café seating, and a relaxed balcony setting, we offer guests the ideal spot for any occasion.

We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team and help us continue delivering high-quality meals that keep locals and visitors coming back.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with menu standards.

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety compliance.

  • Ensure consistency, efficient service, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assist with stock ordering, stock control, and equipment maintenance.

  • Contribute to menu planning and ongoing kitchen operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen.

  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen procedures.

  • Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining quality.

  • A collaborative team player with a passion for good ingredients and great presentation.

  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends.
